As there is a vendor out there selling fuel pump kits with incorrect return springs, not a bad idea to check the pressure. Idle mixture control screws should be out from lightly seated 1/4 to 1 turn.Connect a vacuum gauge to a carburetor vacuum port that will have access to full manifold vacuum at idle.
