The reason you have to reclear alot of the older lost sectors is because they got updated when shadowkeep launched. The bosses were updated to nightmare bosses so required a fresh clear. Later in the shadowkeep year we got the first legend lost sectors with season of the Worthy as well so. #6.

But you can still hit dry spells there too.
