With version 2 comes the ability to load and save mercenary builds. The Faction Upgrades and Spells are saved in templates. Note: You will need to manually select the alignment and bloodline. Templates can be found at the top of each build table (if available). Note: Most Templates are in order that the game save them in.

You can make a good build just clicking the largest numbers. It won't be optimal, but the best high gem Merc build for the parts few years, Lightning Forge, is literally a Fairy package and then clicking every high number. Bit late to the party but I got this on R16. Used a Merc build from the wiki, but taking FC3 and GB1 and anything else that gives you assistants then wait (possibly a couple of days) and boom you should be up above 100k. #4. Merc builds are already solid. Diamond/Lightning Forge and Elven Farms if you don't want to excav are your best bets.
