For 1 I can tell you you do not need Dex that high unless you are going to like level 200 or beyond, it would be better spent on vigor, endurance or even intelligence to make full use of the scythe. 40 Dex is good until you level your other stats sufficiently. I'm running around doing some PvP and i noticed a lot of people with really fast straightswords doing almost half my hp in damage with a single quick attack, meanwhile my quickattacks with 40/40 friedes scythe is doing maybe 1/10 of someones HP, ripostes dealing not even 1/5 of their hp.
